Welcome to
Cornerstone International Bible Church
We are a local community church affiliated with Christian Community Churches of New Zealand (CCCNZ).
We believe in the gospel (“good news”) of Christ Jesus as set out in the Bible, a message which offers enduring hope in uncertain times. Our church family includes children, youth, families and seniors from across Dunedin and abroad joined by a shared love for Jesus and a desire to grow together in love, unity and faith. As a church community we gather regularly to learn about Jesus. He teaches us to love, serve, and encourage one another, and calls us to bear witness together to the salvation he freely gave us.
When
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the grey two-level building at 26 Filleul Street, Dunedin Central.
Each Sunday includes Sunday school, Bible teaching, worship and communion. Prayer, the Lord's Supper, and refreshments follow the message, and a recorded version is available for streaming on request.
New Teaching Series — How Christians Grow: Key Foundations
Beginning June 2026
How we grow in our walk is often the missing part of gospel teaching. We rightly emphasise the initial forgiveness of sins — our introduction by grace into the faith in which we now stand. That is good and necessary. But if our teaching stops there, our walk can quietly default to little more than "try harder," and we stay unfamiliar with all that grace opens up to us for growth into maturity. Scripture makes it clear that much depends on taking hold of certain basic principles of spiritual growth, which the New Testament sets out in several places.
